The Monday blues is what they’re called but I sure am one to experience Friday Blues , where the weekend seems so far but yet so close and you just can’t wait for the working day to end. This is a feeling surely experienced by every single one of us as we reminisce on the memories made from our past weekend looking forward to the wonderful adventures of the one to come.

This look is perfect at depicting that lazy effortless “Friday Blues ” mood for your day to day movements on campus or in the office . A pair of sandals or preferred style of high heels carry this image well for the office , or if you’re on campus just throw on some flats ( not pumps – pleaaaaaase !! ) .
The shirt offers the button up option but we opted for the unbuttoned look which gives a softer touch to this rather strong and intimidating look . It also really adds to the casual and effortless look which I do enjoy . We also opted to roll up the sleeves and thus show the two sided design of the shirt .

Now for my favourite part of the outfit , the high waisted denim skirt. An absolute must have classic piece in every ladies wardrobe . This denim zip up high waist skirt with side pockets hits just above the knee and high on the waist. It can completely transform any look when you want to dress up or dress down .It’s rather interesting the infinite cuts and styles denim skirts come in now , and this skirt in particular I love because it can be worn either side . For this look I wore it with the slit facing the back . The slit is so important for tight clothing so you are able to walk and be seated comfortably , it really affords you a little more moving space. But whether it’s in the front or back , it really doesn’t matter.

The jacket is a cute item for layering and to throw over should it be a little breezy .
Simple , cute and chic !
