For many of us, we’ve heard of Homechoice through either our mothers, aunts or family friends. My first recall of Homechoice was definitely through a pamphlet a family friend once brought home for my mother to view some lovely bed linen. After all, if there’s one thing my mother is definitely purchasing, it’s bed linen. Not only does Homechoice have a focus in the bedroom department, their offering ranges all through to Fashion, Baby & Kids and Appliances. https://www.instagram.com/p/CUcBD7FMpGK/?utm_medium=copy_link One of the really great appliances which caught my eye and made sense to have life right now is the NUTRIBULLET under the Homechoice Food Preparation Appliance selection. It’s literally the one appliance that’s brought me peace of mind in ensuring I consume a healthy and filing smoothie to kick start the day. It’s eliminated the frustration of thinking long and hard about what to have, and helped me play around…

Ingredients Tetley Tea Elaichi Chai  1 Spoon of brown sugar 1/3 of popcorn kernels Cinnamon Coconut oil / Extra virgin olive oil Pour in the oil Before the oil super heats, throw in your popcorn kernels Pour in your your spoon of sugarPour in the contents of 1 Elaichi Chai Sprinkle some cinnamon Mix the contents in the potCover the pot and let it pop!Once the popping slows to several seconds between pops, remove the pan from the heat The above makes for a lovely blend of all the flavors. But, I understand that taste is subjective. So you can always add more sugar, cinnamon or Elaichi tea to suit your taste buds. I’ve also pre mixed as opposed to adding the mix post making the popcorn so it’s infused into every kernel. Over the past weekend, I had the the most thrilling experience of travelling 1 200KM with Ford South Africa on an all female led drive with a mission. We drove from East London and made our way to Johannesburg – such a great was to explore the beautiful South African landscape while taking the Ford baddies for a spin, and of course demonstrating the “Can’t Help But Help” ethos of Living the RangeHer life. Over the three days, I had the opportunity of driving the Ford WildTrak, Ford Ranger Thunder and the Ford Raptor. One thing I can confidently say after taking these baddies both on and off-road is that the Ford Ranger laughs at the face of potholes! This trip was magical in more ways than one. Not only did we get the opportunity to explore the beautiful Eastern Cape and all its scenic views, we also got to…

As we celebrate National Women’s day, my hope for South African women is that we would rise up to who we truly are.  That as we see another woman navigate life, we become that helping hand in any capacity that we can – and not break them down. As women, I wish that we would realise the power in collaboration and not feel intimidated by the success of another, but instead search for lessons in their journey that we too can use to build ourselves up. As South African women, I wish that we would begin to have conversations that bring to light the many adversities we face, as well as brainstorm on actionable ways to carry us all forward. My wish for South African women is that we would search each of our childhood traumas and prioritise healing. Without healing, we will not be able to fully tap into all…

Hey lovers, South Africa’s biggest tea is looking for #TetleysBIGGESTfan , could it be YOU? The act of drinking tea is steeped in history and part of the fabric of many societies across the world. It has been said that a cup of tea can make everything better, or at least calm you down and warm you up in the process. Although the ritual of tea drinking doesn’t originate in South Africa, we certainly do love our tea – and we rate in the top 12 countries who drink the most tea to prove it! When it comes to making tea, there is no one quite as committed as Joekels, the makers of Tetley tea for the South African market. They cram 10% more tea into every tea bag – making Tetley the biggest teabag in South Africa. It’s no surprise then that, when it comes to loving tea, there…

The ultimate weapon for on-the-go germ protection is here! OmniProtect is a powerful hand and surface sanitizing spray with 70% acohol. Its aerosol function allows for easy and effective application that limits contact with potentially contaminated surfaces. OmniProtect is currently the only brand on the market that can effectively sanitize softs. OmniProtect contains two vital ingredients: 70% ethanol and 0.3% Chlorhexidine Gluconate. Alcohol kills germs by penetrating the germ cell walls and denaturing (deactivating) the proteins. Where too much alcohol would cause blockages and prevent this process from occuring, 70% alcohol is the perfect concentration to achieve this. Chlorhexidine is a disinfectant and antiseptic used by hospitals during surgery, for skin and for sterilizing surgical instruments. OmniProtect is scientifically-formulated to provide the consumer with powerfully effective sanitization. The factory in which OmniProtect is being produced is following strict protocol to ensure a germ and hazard free environment. A certificate of…

I was today years old when I realised that Google Maps is already 15 years old! Pioneered in 2005, Google Maps has continued to grown and develop it’s offering to meet our day-to-day navigation needs as we explore the world. It has mapped out more than 220 countries, while surfacing information for over 200 million places and businesses. Through Google Maps, the world is literally at our fingertips. I certainly don’t take for granted the convenience of turn-by-turn driving navigation, live traffic alerts, Live View and of course finding local restaurants and businesses with one simple search. As part of the celebrating the 15 year milestone, Google Maps has revealed the most highly rated venues in Joburg and Cape Town, and I must say, the results weren’t exactly what I expected… According to Google Maps users, the top rated restaurants in Johannesburg  is Ana-Paula’s Coffee shop, a hidden gem located all…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yz4X03GwH8M&t=312s I had an awesome kick start to the new week being hosted by Google South Africa at their Influencer dinner. I always consider it such a privilege to be invited to Google South Africa HQ. It’s always such an exciting and informative session. We get exclusive information on what’s new and what’s still to come in the digital world. In turn, I believe that the responsibility we have as influencers is to relay the information we receive from different brands in a way best understood by each of our unique audiences.   I’d also like to acknowledge just how much care Google South Africa takes at creating a stimulating and exciting environment for us. Each of us feel welcome and at home, safe and in no way feel compelled to be and do anything outside of our own will. I find that the environment Google creates for us is for…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g05lEI-y7f4&t=11s Hey lovers, If you follow me on my social media profiles you’ll know just how much of a coffee lover I am. I can’t get on with my day without having some love in a cup. When I first heard of Starbucks At Home, and saw posts from their social media influencers, I wasn’t quite clear about what this new experience would be all about. Well, on 28 August 2019 I had the privilege of attending the official Starbucks At Home Launch at Ferguson’s 5th Floor, and I’m here to tell you all about it. NESTLÉ has officially launched a new range boasting 17 coffee products under the Starbucks brand. This is the first product launch in Africa since NESTLÉ and Starbucks formally joined forces and created a global coffee alliance in August 2018. From whole bean and roast coffees,  ground coffees and of course my new personal favorite… capsules.…
