Since way back when, I have always loved fashion and what people call styling. When I was a little girl , finding material and sewing ( yes with a needle – rather dangerous ) clothes for my Barbie was my favourite pastime because I simply couldn’t stand my Barbie wearing the same clothes everyday . I mean, I even made underwear for her!!
I grew up with the most stylish ” big sister” whom I have since decided to work with at putting together some cool looks. She goes by the name of Ndumi Matiwane and owns a store at 8 Morrison (Shop 11) called Mind over Matter.
Our personal styles are quite different but I have been able to find my personal style somewhere in there because of how laid back the clothes are. I’m all about a laid back look which when worn in confidence transforms to something rather magical and graceful. Some looks are cheekier than other, some more casual and others are pretty lady.
I’m all about putting out relatable content and so I wouldn’t ever post up something I personally wouldn’t wear ( unless otherwise stated ) . From the average University student, intern or working in a junior position who is style conscious but shopping on a budget, this one’s for you.
