Decisions and choices are such tests of character . Over the years I most certainly have always been baffled as to how people come up with the conclusions and the decisions they do . It’s true what they say that you shouldn’t mock a pain or situation you haven’t had first hand experience of.
The hardest decisions to make very often involve you having to be selfish and I must say that’s not something that comes easily for me . I have had to realise that being selfish isn’t necessarily a bad thing , it isn’t actually what it is made out to be . Being selfish is seemingly viewed from one dimension , and I would say ‘selfish ‘ is simply a harsh way of saying one must align their priorities .
What are my priorities ? Well , that’s what I had a tough time having to think long and hard about . Luckily for me , the friends I keep are brutally honest and unapologetic about it.
We all have sacrifices to make . Sacrificing who we are and what we have now , for who we want to be and what we want for our future selves. These decisions are made for the fundamental moves of your life , and they kind of always seem to find a way at temporarily working against the people in your life that matter the most.
At the end , it all it came down to the rationale of I choose me. I choose to be the best version of me so I can be my best for my future and for all those whom I shall carry in my world and roles I am yet to play.
Constructing your world , your empire is of high priority . Never forget that YOU lay the foundation and YOU set the rhythm . Everything is a process and we are to follow through with the process even during the time which sacrifice is required. Every encounter won’t be comfortable , but it is for a reason .
Beauty has it’s flaws and this here now has been such a beautiful awakening for me .
