Kangol x HM: a fresh new streetwear collaboration for self-made generation

It’s official, the Kangol x H&M collection has finally hit SA shores. Streetwise icon Kangol meets H&M with a 31 piece collection with iconic streetwear brand Kangol. Featured as co-collaborator is Mabel, BRIT Awards Best British Female Solo Artist and international music artist. Legendary streetwear label Kangol is one that can be instantly recognised for its kangaroo logo. Throughout the years, my introduction and re-introduction to the brand has been through the world of Hip-Hop music, with LL Cool J, Missy Elliott and other greats making it one of the coolest brands growing up. LEE x H&M: Collaborating for the next generation of more sustainable denim

The news is officially out and the 28th of January just couldn’t come any sooner! H&M has collaborated with American denim legends Lee to push for the next generation of more sustainable denim. This collaboration takes a holistic approach which speaks to the conscious efforts H&M has been taking to play their part in a more sustainable approach to fashion. From fabric selection right through to production, sustainability is central to this collaborations design. WHAT FABRICS HAVE BEEN USED? H&M will officially introduce its first 100% recycled cotton jeans, made from 80% post-industrial waste and 20% post-consumer waste. We drove from East London and made our way to Johannesburg – such a great was to explore the beautiful South African landscape while taking the Ford baddies for a spin, and of course demonstrating the “Can’t Help But Help” ethos of Living the RangeHer life. Over the three days, I had the opportunity of driving the Ford WildTrak, Ford Ranger Thunder and the Ford Raptor.
