As we enter the summer season and well pretty much the end of the year, I really need to take a moment to decide on a look and feel for summer. With this of course comes a hairs and Color change which will be best suited for the season as well as my character. I never ever decide on hairstyles according to how well they suite other people (well maybe I do if we have the same oval shaped long face). However , my main priority is ensuring that I can maintain the look with all the care it requires , ensuring that it will go well with my face shape , my skin tone as well as considering if it compliments my wardrobe.
I have always enjoyed bob hairstyles and the amount of transformation the traditional bob has had over the years. I love my hair bouncy, well textured and layered with a healthy glow. Very often when one dyes their hair all this fantastic aspects are lost during the process. Well, thank heavens mine co-operated and I was able to achieve the blue/black look. My hair is currently switching from black and moving so rapidly to its midnight blue status. I have never been one to be so adventurous with my hair colour but I will be quite honest and admit that I quite enjoy the character and edge the midnight blue has given me.
The bob style has also been so good to me because of its low maintenance and because short hair just works with the humid Durban weather.
2015 has been a year of bold colours and playing around with many shades and mixtures of colours. For summer, I believe the deal seal for me would be going a deep red. My spirit, energy and attitude right now can pretty much carry this look out (I think).
