Hey Lovers! I’m sure you all know by now just how much I love it when big retailers play a part in either giving back to society or of course playing their part in reducing waste that goes out into the environment. Through the Garment Collecting initiative, H&M is doing just that! H&M South Africa has been taking the necessary steps to ensure they play their role at fulfilling the goals they’ve set out towards a more sustainable fashion future. Through their partnership with Clothes For Good, a local social enterprise based in Pretoria, H&M touches on upcycling and recycling, two of the many ways to fulfilling their goals towards a more sustainable fashion future. Over the past few years, there has been a great amount of conversation in the world of fashion around the manufacture of environmentally – conscious clothing. Hey lovers! My Wednesday morning started off on a great note as I prepared myself for a lovely mid day out with H&M, for the preview of their SS 19 Studio Collection. The venue for the preview was the ever so tranquil Beechwood Gardens, which I had never been to before. I had a bit of a last minute panic about what to wear, but having seen some of the local and international fashionistas posts sporting the current Studio Collection, I cooked up the perfect outfit for the day. I absolutely love how well the SA H&M team manages to get it right ALL the time. Their attention to detail and securing the perfect locations is everything. Gone are the days where I shy away from bright and bold statement pieces. Instead, I’ve now learnt how to embrace them, work them MY way and pair them with staple pieces in my wardrobe to fit my personal style. I just want to journey with you through some of my looks for the H&M AW18 Campaign we shot in the mother city, Cape Town. As you may know, H&M’s new autumn/winter 18 collection is all about delicate dark florals, chunky knits and this season’s hottest denim looks.  What I wore:  My first look is very true to my personal style. Hey guys! So I had the lovely opportunity to attend an exclusive preview the new Studio Collection at the H&M showroom in Cape Town. Unfortunately, I was unable to make the event, but I still made sure I got the scoop for you from the H&M PR team as to what you can expect from the collection.H&M STUDIO WOMENSWEAR AW17: URBAN SOPHISTICATION “This collection is all about tailoring, enhancing the female silhouette.
