Considering that I’ve been in Johannesburg for nearly half a year already, I still have a lot of hidden gems to discover in the city. One of the jewels I discovered not so long ago with one of my friends was the Circa Gallery in Rosebank. In as much as it’s so popular on Instagram and the stunning pictures people take on the famous spiraling staircase, I had to go explore it for myself. They really push the envelope in how they present the art to evoke emotion and any thought process in ones mind really. It is so heart-warming and encouraging to see when corporates come together in support of a bigger picture. Nike and Totalsports have once again done just that with the Totalsports Women’s Race. The race is in support of the PinkDrive. The PinkDrive is a breast cancer community carer which works in many ways to help those affected by breast cancer, and more especially encourage early detection of breast cancer. “Early detection saves lives.” Many of us know of someone who either has breast cancer or is affected by breast cancer.
