A few days ago , I took to my Instagram ( @IAMTHANDOLWETHU ) to get a few suggestions on which nail color I should try for the Summer , as well as which brand ladies are most loyal to and trust with their all. Interestingly enough , this question turned out to be rather informative for me . Get this , most of this information came from a male ! So yes , the urban male does know quite a lot more than we often think they do when it comes to personal grooming .
My personal experience is mainly of the Revlon and Essie range , which is the range the ever so trusted nail bar Fancy Claws in Durban is known for. Morgan Taylor as well as the new Revlon gels also came into mention which I am yet to try .
The suggested colors were rather out of my personal taste and quite edgy ! I continued to request suggestions on softer pallets and then came the great whiff of schooling from this gentleman . I got to learn of a brand by the name of Zoya Nail polish , which are supposedly imports and available by order only . Known for their variety of pallets and most importantly for having created the first fast working drying topcoat and the longest wearing, toxin free natural nail polish. Sounds pretty amazing!
Look, I don’t do the nail polish thing under my own supervision solely because I lack the patience to watch it dry, so this sounds pretty amazing for me!
