Hey lovers,
It feels as though we have jumped right from Winter and straight into Summer. Yes, pretty much skipping Spring. I thought to myself, why not share some of my favorite looks with you all, and also look into some trends we can all play around with this season.
I created these looks from DENIM with casual vibes in mind. Of course you can always throw on a blazer and high heels if you want to make these looks a bit more formal.
You’ll realise that two of the three looks are actually co-ords. I absolutely enjoy just how much room co-ords give me to play with my looks. They offer me the versatility that denims also give me, so I am able to somewhat “recycle” my looks.
Below each of the looks, I’m going to give you the “alternative” of how else you can rock these pieces. I have also expressed these alternatives in my clothing try on hual on my YouTube channel.
LOOK 1
Alternative: This cute top gives you the option of tucking in the frills, or, embracing them as they are. For those of you who want to show off that stomach you’ve worked on all winter long, go right ahead and tuck in bo babes! Personally, I would wear this top with high waisted blue denims, and let the frills do their thang! Once I involve denims, I’ve successfully managed to dress down and throw on a pair of sneakers.
LOOK 2
Alternative: One thing we’re not doing this season is shying away from color! I love just how bold this two piece is. However, for the days you don’t wish to be as loud, you can wear these pants with a crisp white shirt. I also definitely see this top with a crisp pair of white denims, or shorts if you would like to show some leg. Both ways are a great alternative to quietening down the noise.
LOOK 3
Alternative: I love this blouse, more especially because I don’t have to wear a bra with it. This look above is a bit casual, but can switch up real quick! For a more sultry, grown and sexy look, I would throw on a print satin/silk flowy skirt for a relaxed yet on trend vibe. Oh yes, don’t forget the belt! I’ve literally stocked up on three different styles of these belts already.
