Hey lovers,
If you follow me on my social media profiles you’ll know just how much of a coffee lover I am. I can’t get on with my day without having some love in a cup.
When I first heard of Starbucks At Home, and saw posts from their social media influencers, I wasn’t quite clear about what this new experience would be all about. Well, on 28 August 2019 I had the privilege of attending the official Starbucks At Home Launch at Ferguson’s 5th Floor, and I’m here to tell you all about it.

NESTLÉ has officially launched a new range boasting 17 coffee products under the Starbucks brand. This is the first product launch in Africa since NESTLÉ and Starbucks formally joined forces and created a global coffee alliance in August 2018.
From whole bean and roast coffees, ground coffees and of course my new personal favorite… capsules. The capsules have been developed using Nespresso and Nescafé Dolce Gusto proprietary coffee and system technologies. What I love about this is that it means I don’t have to get all new machinery to enjoy the refreshing taste of Starbucks At Home Coffees. I can make use of my NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® ESPERTA which I already have at home.
All products under Starbucks At Home are made from high-quality 100% Arabica coffee, ethically sourced from farmers in the world’s premier coffee growing regions.

The Starbucks range of coffee co-developed between NESTLÉ and Starbucks will be available for purchase from Checkers, Pick ‘n Pay, Spar and Makro as of September 2019. For those who enjoy online shopping, Pick ‘n Pay Online and Takealot is where it’s at!
I’m so thrilled that I can now enjoy my favorite Starbucks signature flavors from the comfort of my own home! 🙂 Don’t forget to check out the VLOG embedded above from my YouTube Channel for a glimpse into what went down at the official Starbucks At Home Launch. Enjoy!
We are very pleased to bring these new range of exciting and premium coffee products to consumers in South Africa. The partnership with Starbucks brings three of the world’s most iconic brands together – Nescafe. Nespresso and Starbucks. The global coffee alliance, will help over time, transform, expand and elevate, both in-home and out of home coffee market bringing innovation and better offerings to a larger number of consumers” stated Bruno Olierhoek, – CEO of NESTLÉ South Africa.
