When I was much younger, my mother found it very important to educate us about all things health in a way we would best receive it. One day, she brought home a children’s read about a boy with a facial anomaly called a cleft lip. Now this was something I’d definitely not heard of or seen before, nothing I’ve ever heard of in the news or in the classroom. You can only imagine how smart I was feeling after reading the book and educating all of my classmates on the playground! Fast forward a couple of years later and once again Im confronted by the reality of a cleft lip. Now however, I’ve been exposed to a brand which is raising awareness and more importantly contributing to helping those in need.
