The maxi dress trend is one which many feel they can’t be a part of, simply because of their height. Well, let me tell you something – the maxi is not only for the tall and slim lady. Absolutely anyone can rock a maxi in style, provided you find a great fit which accentuates the best part of your body. Hey guys! If you follow me on my Instagram, you’ll know just how much I’ve been embracing my bold side and loving red pieces in particular. These images are the second installment of the shoot styled by Zuki. What I wore: Nomi Velvet Pants and a red Carla Camisole from Diane-Paris ; Rio heels by Dolce Vita Inspired by classic lingerie, Carla camisole is cut from silk and cotton blend in a flattering V-neck silhouette. The languid drape works particularly well half-tucked into jeans or tailored pants. This look involved quite a bit of playing around with texture. This look was literally never going to make it up on the blog. However, while I was thinking of an Instagram caption for one of these images, I thought of the caption “A hint of Spring in Autumn” and a series of thoughts instantly came to mind.  Perhaps this has got a lot to do with the fact that I’m currently reading a book titled “Talent is never enough” by John C. Maxwell. Although I’m only halfway through the book, I’ve already gained a wealth of knowledge. A lot of my beliefs have been re-affirmed, my mindset has been transformed, I’ve learnt much about myself.
